You might have noticed a message popping up after sending about 100 invites on LinkedIn. Don't worry, this is not unusual, and it's not a cause for concern. LinkedIn is currently testing these new limits, and while they haven't been applied to all accounts just yet, it's expected that they will become the standard for everyone soon.

If you do reach the 100-invite limit, there's no need to panic. It's just part of how the system works. To make the most of this situation, we recommend sending fewer invites each day once you've been informed of these weekly limits. This strategy will help you ease into the new setup and ensure a smoother experience on LinkedIn.

Best Practices

To keep things organized and maintain a positive LinkedIn experience, it's a good practice to regularly check your pending invites and aim to keep them under 500.

Withdrawal Sent Invitations: Head over to 'CRM' > 'Invitations' > 'Sent' tab, where you'll find all the connection requests you've sent and received. You can withdraw individual invites, use bulk actions or enable Meet Alfred's auto-withdrawal feature to streamline the process.

Accept or Reject Received Invitations: In the 'Received' tab, you can review the invitations sent to you. You have the flexibility to accept or reject them one by one or handle them in batches.

Want to increase your acceptance rate when sending invites?

Try these tips:

  • View Profiles First: Add an engagement step to 'view profile' when creating your automated LinkedIn campaign before sending an invite. This action notifies the other person and can boost your chances of connecting.

  • Introduce Yourself: Explain why you want to connect but do not include your "sales pitch" and ensure your profile is well-optimized.

Handling Restrictions

If you find your LinkedIn account restricted, don't worry. Give it a few days to see if the restriction lifts on its own. If it persists, you can politely reach out to LinkedIn support without mentioning any automation tools you might be using.

To contact LinkedIn support regarding restrictions, simply visit the "LinkedIn Support for Restrictions" page.
