White Label: Set up a Custom Domain

Brand your login page with your own domain (e.g., app.yourdomain.com) instead of using app.meetalfred.com.

Use your own domain (like app.yourdomain.com) to access the Meet Alfred platform—perfect for keeping your brand front and center.

🔐 This feature is available on the Teams plan and can only be activated by the Account Owner.
🛠️ You’ll need basic to intermediate DNS knowledge (or help from your IT person or domain provider).

To access the White Label feature, simply go "Teams" > 'White Label'.

To get started, click the “Contact Support” button in the Custom Domain section of your White Label settings. Our team will activate the feature for you and explain everything you need to know before setup.

How It Works

By adding a custom domain (CNAME), you can replace app.meetalfred.com with your own branded URL. This applies to logins for you, your team, and clients.

Example:

Once activated, your new login URL will change from app.meetalfred.com to something like portal.yourcompany.com.

This means your team and clients will access a fully branded version of the Meet Alfred app.

⚠️ A Quick Heads-Up: Some Features Aren’t Available on Custom Domains

Due to restrictions from platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and Zapier, those integrations won’t work directly from your custom domain. These platforms don’t allow white labeling of their login/authentication processes.

However, you can still set them up through the Meet Alfred domain, and they’ll work as expected:

  • Campaigns that include social posts or automation via Facebook, Twitter, or Zapier will still run normally

  • You can view, edit, and track campaign performance from your custom domain

  • You’ll only need to return to app.meetalfred.com to create new steps or campaigns involving those integrations

How to Set Up Your Custom Domain

  1. Turn on White Label
Go to Teams > White Label, and toggle the feature ON.

  2. Go to the Custom Domain section
    Enter your desired subdomain
    Example: portal.bobshoes.com

  3. Click “Generate DNS Records”
Meet Alfred will generate two CNAME records for you.

  4. Copy these DNS records
    They’ll include:
    Host/Name

    Target/Value

    TTL (Time to Live)

  5. Add these records to your domain provider
    Example: GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Namecheap, etc.

  6. Log into your domain provider (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, etc.) and paste these records in

  7. Wait 1–2 hours for the changes to take effect

Setting Up CNAME Records in GoDaddy

If you're using GoDaddy, follow these steps to add the DNS records:

  1. Sign in to your GoDaddy account

  2. Click Edit DNS next to your domain

  3. Scroll down and click Add Record

  4. From the “Type” dropdown, select CNAME

  5. Paste the values from Alfred into these fields:

    • Host/Name

    • Target/Value

    • TTL

💡 Note: If the CNAME value includes .custom.com, GoDaddy may automatically append your domain. Be sure to remove any duplicates.

  1. Click Add Record to save

  2. Repeat the process for the second CNAME record listed in your Meet Alfred account

📝 Heads-up: These steps are based on GoDaddy’s interface.
If you’re using another domain provider, the process may look a little different.
We recommend checking your provider’s help documentation for the most accurate, up-to-date instructions.

👥 User Access & Invitations with a Custom Domain

  • Once your custom domain is active, you won’t be logged out—you can keep using Meet Alfred as usual.

  • For team members and clients, they’ll need to log out and then log back in using the new custom domain link (e.g., yourapp.yourdomain.com).

When inviting new users:

  • Any user invited while White Label is enabled will be added directly to your team.

  • You won’t see them listed in the standard "Invite" section—this is expected behavior.

  • If you add a user under Manage Team, they’ll receive an invite email with:

    • A slightly different message than standard Meet Alfred users

    • Your custom domain login link

    • A temporary password to log in directly via your branded domain

⚠️ Important: If you ever turn off the White Label feature, your custom domain will stop working.
Users trying to access it will see the message: “Your app is deactivated.”
