With the White Label SMTP feature, you can send system emails (like invites, password resets, and alerts) from an address like noreply@yourdomain.com instead of meetalfred.com/help.

🔐 This feature is part of the Teams plan and must be enabled by the Account Owner.
🌐 You must have a custom domain set up before accessing the custom email (SMTP) section.

🔧 Before You Begin

To connect your custom email address using SMTP, make sure the following is ready:

✅ You’ve already set up a custom domain in your Meet Alfred account

✅ You have access to your email provider’s SMTP settings (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, or a business email service)

🔐 If you're using Gmail or Outlook, you'll need to create an app-specific password to use instead of your normal login. This is a security requirement for most major providers.

📚 Not sure how to do that? Follow these setup guides for step-by-step help:

Once your app password is ready, you’ll enter it in the “SMTP Password” field when connecting your email to Meet Alfred.

What Kind of Emails Are Sent Using SMTP?

Once set up, these types of system emails will be sent using your custom email address:

  • New account registrations

  • Team invites

  • Password reset links

  • Social/email disconnection alerts

How to Set Up a Custom Email Address (SMTP) for White Label

  1. Turn on the White Label feature
Go to Team > White Label, then switch the toggle ON.

  2. Contact Support to Enable Your Custom Domain
Once your domain is verified, the Custom Email section will appear in the White Label tab.

  3. Open the Custom Email section and fill in the form:

Field

Description

SMTP User Name

Your email address (e.g., youremail@gmail.com)

SMTP Password

🔑 Paste the 16-character app password you copied earlier (from Step 2 of Set up SMTP for Gmail ). This is not your regular Gmail or email login password.

Reply-to Email

Where email replies will go.

Use an address you check regularly (e.g., support@yourdomain.com).

The display name on your outgoing emails.

This can be your company or your name (e.g., "Meet Alfred Support" or "John Doe").

Adds encryption to secure your emails.

Most providers require this—enable it if using Gmail, Outlook, or any provider recommending secure email connections.
