LinkedIn has made changes to how basic (free) users send invites, which affects how connection request messages are handled.
Meet Alfred has responded with improvements to make the connection process smoother. When these limits are detected, Meet Alfred will notify you through an app banner.

πβ¨Pro Tip: Consider upgrading your LinkedIn membership to bypass character restrictions on connection request messages. Premium users have expanded message limits, allowing for more personalized outreach and streamlining your campaign strategy.
Connection Requests with Message Restriction:
Change: LinkedIn now restricts users from sending connection requests with messages.
β¨ Improvement: To ensure your campaigns and connection requests outreach continue uninterrupted, Meet Alfred will automatically detect this limitation, and connection requests that are affected will be sent without a message.
To review connection requests sent without a message, navigate to your 'Campaigns' > 'Activity' page.
βLook for the status "Invite Sent without Message."
βHover over the yellow dot next to "Invited," and a descriptive pop-up will indicate that the connection request was sent without a note.

Connection Request Message with Character Restriction
Change: LinkedIn has set a limit of 200 characters, including spaces and punctuation, for connection messages. It is important to keep your message concise and direct.
β¨ Improvement: Meet Alfred will automatically detect connection request messages that exceed the 200-character limit. If a message is too long, the connection request will be postponed for 24 hours, allowing you time to edit your message.
To find connections requests that couldn't be sent, go to 'Campaigns' > 'Activity' and look for the status "Unable to send invites."
Hover over the yellow dot for a descriptive pop-up that will prompt you to edit your message to 200 characters or less.
