In this video we will cover how to create trends and interact with LinkedIn posts using the trend feature available in Alfred. Alfred’s trends feature helps you watch for specific keywords on LinkedIn, and like LinkedIn posts directly from your account.
All you need to do in order to create a trend is head over to your navigation bar. Click on posts and then trends. Alfred will fetch relevant posts to the specific keyword set you have entered.
Let's begin and create a trend. To create a new trend simply click on the Create trend button. Then enter a keyword and select the interval - meaning how often you want Alfred to fetch these posts for you. Select the Sort By option, whether you want Alfred to fetch to match posts related to the keyword or the latest posts.
Once done, go ahead and click on save. Once save a new tab will be created for the new trend it will display different posts related to the content that matches your keywords, along with the number of likes and comments on the LinkedIn post.
To interact with it, simply click on it and you'll have the option to like it directly from your account. You can also choose to view the content directly on LinkedIn which will open a new tab. You'll also notice some edit options available for you that gives you the opportunity to either edit a trend that you have already created or deleted altogether.
