We, Meet Alfred, reserve the right to review and amend any of these Terms of Service at our sole discretion. Upon doing so, we will update this page. Any changes to these Terms of Service will take effect immediately from the date of publication.

1. Limitations of Use

By using this website, you warrant on behalf of yourself, your users, and other parties you represent that you will not:

1.1 Account Usage Policy

To maintain the integrity of our services and ensure fair usage, each Meet Alfred account must be connected to a single LinkedIn profile. Connecting multiple LinkedIn profiles to a single Meet Alfred account, or switching LinkedIn profiles within an account, is strictly prohibited as it violates our terms of service and fair billing policy. To prevent issues with automation, maintain optimal campaign performance, and avoid potential deactivation of your Meet Alfred account, please ensure that each LinkedIn profile is connected to its own unique Meet Alfred account.

1.2 Intellectual Property

The intellectual property in the materials contained in this website are owned by or licensed to Meet Alfred and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. We grant our users permission to download one copy of the materials for personal, non-commercial transitory use.

This constitutes the grant of a license, not a transfer of title. This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions or the Terms of Service, and may be terminated by Meet Alfred at any time.

1.3 Liability

Our website and the materials on our website are provided on an 'as is' basis. 4. Privacy Policy

Meet Alfred is a web services platform that automates certain networking tasks on LinkedIn and Gmail. Our service imitates human behavior and makes it easy for its users to network efficiently.

This privacy notice explains how we collect, share and protect business information.

4.1 Registration

To create an account you need to provide a Google, Microsoft or email account (it will provide us email, name and profile picture) and third party login credentials. If you register for a paid Service, you will need to provide payment (e.g., credit card) and billing information.

4.2 Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to recognize you and/or your device(s) on our website. You can control cookies through your browser settings and other tools.

4.3 Service Use

We log usage data when you visit or otherwise use our Services, including our app and platform technology such as when you search or set up campaigns. We use log-ins, cookies, device information and internet protocol (“IP”) addresses to identify you and log your use.

4.4 Gmail

To access the email feature on Meet Alfred we will ask to connect with a Gmail account. The App will only use access to:

  • Write Gmail messages to send the messages in your name when you set up an email campaign.
  • Read Gmail message bodies (including attachments), metadata, headers, and settings to verify when your email has been responded to and notify you on your dashboard.

Meet Alfred will not transfer this Gmail data to others unless doing so is necessary to provide and improve these features, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We will not use this Gmail data for serving advertisements. We will not allow humans to read this data unless we have your affirmative agreement for specific messages, doing so is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, to comply with applicable law, or for Meet Alfred's internal operations and even then only when the data have been aggregated and anonymized.

Meet Alfred's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4.5 Disclosure of Anonymized Information

Meet Alfred reserves the right to use and disclose anonymized information, aggregated information or publicly available information that has not been combined with nonpublic Personal Information for any purposes including without limitation Meet Alfred’s internal use and research. However, Meet Alfred will not disclose information, even in anonymized, aggregate, or derivative forms, that is made available by our connection to email providers such as Gmail, including API calls relating to checking, reading, or sending email, in accordance with the Additional Requirements for Restricted Scopes as specified by Google. When connecting to email providers such as Gmail, Meet Alfred will only make use of the information necessary to render our service so that we can display our user interface and perform requested actions on your account.

4.6 Data Retention

We retain your personal data while your account is in existence or as needed to provide you with Services. This includes data you have provided to us and data generated or inferred from your use of our Services. We will retain your information and keep your data until you decide to close your account. Once you close your account, we delete all your data from our systems.

4.7 Security

We implement security safeguards designed to protect your data, such as HTTPS. We regularly monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks. Our applications pseudonymize data to ensure the privacy of data subjects. Any attributes that don’t need to remain in its original form is truncated to remove any possibility to be linked back to a specific data subject. However, we cannot warrant the security of any information that you send us. There is no guarantee that data may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.

4.8 Lawful Bases for Processing

We will only collect and process personal data about you where we have lawful bases. Lawful bases include consent (where you have given consent), contract (where processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you (e.g. to deliver the Meet Alfred Services you have requested)), and “legitimate interests”.

Where we rely on your consent to process personal data, you have the right to withdraw or decline your consent at any time and where we rely on legitimate interests, you have the right to object. We do not share your personal data with any third parties for their direct marketing purpose.

5. Fair Billing Policy

Meet Alfred offers a fair billing policy where you are only billed for the licenses you purchase.

  • Each user must have their own license. You must not share licenses.
  • Each month, you'll be billed based on the licenses you have.
  • You can add or remove licenses whenever you like.
  • You can assign and re-assign team members to licenses however you like.
  • At any time, you can view your current license level from your Billing page.
  • Fair pro-rata billing calculations will be made automatically when you update your licenses, and you will be billed immediately to bring your account up to date for the next billing period.

5.1 Adding team members

If you'd like to invite a colleague to your account, you can create a new license for them and invite them to join. 

If you're paying annually, we'll bill you for the amount of time left on your billing period. For example, if you're paying annually and add a license halfway through the year, we'll bill you for the 6 months remaining.

5.2 Credit card charges

You’ll see the first credit card charge from Meet Alfred on the day you purchase a Meet Alfred plan. Here are some other times you’ll see charges:

On the monthly renewal date, if your account is on a monthly payment schedule.

On the annual renewal date, if your account is on an annual payment schedule.

Immediately, if you update your licenses, change your plan, or your change your billing period, we need to bring your account up to date.

5.3 Paying Annually 

If you're paying annually, we'll invoice you for a set number of licenses for the entire year.

If you add more licenses to your account, we'll invoice you immediately to bring your account up to date.

5.4 Deactivating team members

Meet Alfred makes it easy to manage the team members who have access to your database. Once you have deactivated a team member, you must remove their license if you no longer wish to pay for it. When you remove a license, we'll add a pro-rata credit to your Alfred account, and it'll be applied when new team members are invited or on your next renewal date.

This credit has no currency or exchange value, is non-transferable and non-refundable, and will expire if you choose to cancel your subscription.

5.5 Cancelation

‍You can cancel your paid Meet Alfred account at any time.

6. Vulnerability Policy

At Meet Alfred we take the security of our products and services very seriously – so the feedback widget from security researchers is appreciated. It helps us safeguard our services and protect our customers and their data.

We operate a policy of responsible disclosure for reporting security vulnerabilities. If you are involved with security research, please find the ins and outs of it here:

6.1 How to report a suspected security vulnerability

If you believe you’ve found a potential vulnerability, please use the vulnerability report form and give us as much detail about it as possible.

Please don’t make any information about any vulnerabilities public or do anything else that might put our customers’ data or our intellectual property at risk. And do not degrade our systems.

6.2 What actions will we take?

We’ll acknowledge your submission and review the reported issue. If you’re right and there is an issue, we’ll give you an estimate for how long it will take to sort out.

6.3 Activity that we don’t allow:

We don’t allow any activity that might interfere with customers using our services, or any activity that might result in the modification, deletion or unauthorized disclosure of our intellectual property or personal customer data. With that in mind, these are some of the specific things we don’t allow:

  1. Public disclosure of personal, proprietary or financial information
  2. The modification or deletion of data that isn’t yours
  3. Interruption, degradation or outage to services (like Denial of Service attacks)
  4. Spamming / social engineering / phishing attacks
  5. Physical exploits and/or attacks on our infrastructure
  6. Local network-based attacks such as DNS poisoning or ARP spoofing

6.4 Vulnerability submissions that are out of the scope of our responsible disclosure policy:

Accessible non-sensitive files and directories (e.g. README.txt, robots.txt, etc.)

Fingerprinting/banner/version disclosure of common/public services

Username/email enumeration by brute forcing or by inference of certain error messages – except in exceptional circumstances (e.g. the ability to enumerate email addresses by incrementing a variable)

7. Acceptable Use Policy

This acceptable use policy covers the products, services, and technologies (collectively referred to as the “Products”) provided by Meet Alfred under any ongoing agreement. It’s designed to protect us, our customers, and the general Internet community from unethical, irresponsible, and illegal activity.

Meet Alfred customers found engaging in activities prohibited by this acceptable use policy can be liable for service suspension and account termination. In extreme cases, we may be legally obliged to report such customers to the relevant authorities.

This policy was last updated in November 2024.

7.1 Fair use

We provide our facilities with the assumption your use will be “business as usual”, as per our offer schedule. If your use is considered to be excessive, then additional fees may be charged, or capacity may be restricted.

We are opposed to all forms of abuse, discrimination, rights infringement, and/or any action that harms or disadvantages any group, individual, or resource. We expect our customers and, where applicable, their users (“end-users”) to likewise engage our Products with similar intent.

7.2 Customer accountability

We regard our customers as being responsible for their own actions as well as for the actions of anyone using our Products with the customer’s permission. This responsibility also applies to anyone using our Products on an unauthorized basis as a result of the customer’s failure to put in place reasonable security measures.

By accepting Products from us, our customers agree to ensure adherence to this policy on behalf of anyone using the Products as their end users. Complaints regarding the actions of customers or their end-users will be forwarded to the nominated contact for the account in question.

If a customer — or their end-user or anyone using our Products as a result of the customer — violates our acceptable use policy, we reserve the right to terminate any Products associated with the offending account or the account itself or take any remedial or preventative action we deem appropriate, without notice. To the extent permitted by law, no credit will be available for interruptions of service resulting from any violation of our acceptable use policy.

7.3 Prohibited activity

Copyright infringement and access to unauthorized material

Our Products must not be used to transmit, distribute or store any material in violation of any applicable law. This includes but isn’t limited to:

any material protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property right used without proper authorization, and

any material that is obscene, defamatory, constitutes an illegal threat or violates export control laws.

The customer is solely responsible for all material they input, upload, disseminate, transmit, create or publish through or on our Products, and for obtaining legal permission to use any works included in such material.

7.4 SPAM and unauthorized message activity

Our Products must not be used for the purpose of sending unsolicited bulk or commercial messages in violation of the laws and regulations applicable to your jurisdiction (“spam”). This includes but isn’t limited to sending spam, soliciting customers from spam sent from other service providers, and collecting replies to spam sent from other service providers.

Our Products must not be used for the purpose of running unconfirmed mailing lists or telephone number lists (“messaging lists”). This includes but isn’t limited to subscribing email addresses or telephone numbers to any messaging list without the permission of the email address or telephone number owner, and storing any email addresses or telephone numbers subscribed in this way. All messaging lists run on or hosted by our Products must be “confirmed opt-in”. Verification of the address or telephone number owner’s express permission must be available for the lifespan of the messaging list.

We prohibit the use of email lists, telephone number lists or databases purchased from third parties intended for spam or unconfirmed messaging list purposes on our Products.

This spam and unauthorized message activity policy applies to messages sent using our Products, or to messages sent from any network by the customer or any person on the customer’s behalf, that directly or indirectly refer the recipient to a site hosted via our Products.

7.5 Unethical, exploitative, and malicious activity

Our Products must not be used for the purpose of advertising, transmitting, or otherwise making available any software, program, product, or service designed to violate this acceptable use policy, or the acceptable use policy of other service providers. This includes but isn’t limited to facilitating the means to send spam and the initiation of network sniffing, pinging, packet spoofing, flooding, mail-bombing, and denial-of-service attacks.

Our Products must not be used to access any account or electronic resource where the group or individual attempting to gain access does not own or is not authorized to access the resource (e.g. “hacking”, “cracking”, “phreaking”, etc.).

Our Products must not be used for the purpose of intentionally or recklessly introducing viruses or malicious code into our Products and systems.

Our Products must not be used for purposely engaging in activities designed to harass another group or individual. Our definition of harassment includes but is not limited to denial-of-service attacks, hate-speech, advocacy of racial or ethnic intolerance, and any activity intended to threaten, abuse, infringe upon the rights of, or discriminate against any group or individual.

Other activities considered unethical, exploitative, and malicious include:

Obtaining (or attempting to obtain) services from us with the intent to avoid payment;

Using our facilities to obtain (or attempt to obtain) services from another provider with the intent to avoid payment;

The unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction (or any attempt thereof) of any information about our customers or end-users, by any means or device;

Using our facilities to interfere with the use of our facilities and network by other customers or authorized individuals;

Publishing or transmitting any content of links that incite violence, depict a violent act, depict child pornography, or threaten anyone’s health and safety;

Any act or omission in violation of consumer protection laws and regulations;

7.6 Any violation of a person’s privacy

Our Products may not be used by any person or entity, which is involved with or suspected of involvement in activities or causes relating to illegal gambling; terrorism; narcotics trafficking; arms trafficking or the proliferation, development, design, manufacture, production, stockpiling, or use of nuclear, chemical or biological weapons, weapons of mass destruction, or missiles; in each case including any affiliation with others whatsoever who support the above such activities or causes.

7.7 Unauthorized use of Meet Alfred property

We prohibit the impersonation of Meet Alfred, the representation of a significant business relationship with Meet Alfred, or ownership of any Meet Alfred property (including our Products and brand) for the purpose of fraudulently gaining service, custom, patronage, or user trust.

7.8 About this policy

This policy outlines a non-exclusive list of activities and intent we deem unacceptable and incompatible with our brand.

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time by publishing the revised version on our website. The revised version will be effective from the earlier of:

the date the customer uses our Products after we publish the revised version on our website; or

30 days after we publish the revised version on our website.
